Actemium Instrumentation, Control and Switchgear are looking for a  Administrator Assistant to join our team in Staverton, Gloucester.

 

The Administrator you will be responsible for day-to-day administrative assistance to the Business Unit Finance Partner and all Business Unit staff including the General Manager.

Key Accountabilities  

 

  • Front of house, including but not limited to answering incoming calls, meet & greet customers/suppliers, preparing & serving both hot and cold refreshments.
  • Develop project files and documentation such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning and printing to aid smooth running of the Business Unit.
  • Raise supplier purchase orders using SAP system (training provided).
  • Organise Ad hoc travel arrangements for staff such as booking accommodation, flights, reservations etc.

  • A well-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative but also be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are imperative for this role. The person will need to be a confident communicator, across all levels both internally and externally.
  • Good time-management and self-discipline.
  • Friendly and approachable manner, able to build and sustain relationships based on trust at all levels.
  • An eye for detail, focused on quality and accuracy, within a busy environment, without compromising deadlines.
  • Interest and willingness to learn within an admin environment.
  • Proactively resolve problems.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Internal Control Manual and procedures
  • Strong IT skills in particular, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint). A well-motivated individual who can work on their own initiative but also be able to work effectively
    as part of a team.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • No formal qualifications required
  • Experience in customer service may be of benefit
