Job description

Actemium Design (formerly North West Projects) is a national Engineering design company with a Nuclear sector focus. Being part of VINCI Energies with a turnover of €14 billion, has allowed NWP to grow in an exciting but secure manner. We are currently recruiting for a CE&I Engineer. The ideal candidate will CE&I experience within the Nuclear sector.

The Role

• Translating user requirements and technical specifications into concept designs and fully engineered design solutions.
• Planning and executing engineering and design activities.
• Production of engineering documentation.
• Production of design substantiation and scoping calculations.
• Production of engineering drawings.
• Undertaking technical reviews and risk assessments.

Desired profile

• Experience working in design engineering.
• Demonstrable experience working within a highly regulated industry, preferably nuclear.
• Ability to function within an engineering team in the definition, implementation and delivery of engineering work packages.
• Awareness of the NEC suite of contracts, change control methodology, and common Project Management practices.
