Actemium, an international Electrical Services organisation with a global turnover of €2.8 billion and based in over 40 countries is looking to recruit an Admin Apprentice to join our team.

The Role

The role is to work with the Business Unit Leadership team to assist and support the various project teams in the Business Unit to deliver efficient projects with fantastic customer service to our customers. There is an expectation for you to be proactive in providing support and assistance. 

  • Assist and support the Business Unit Leadership Team to create an environment for the team to be motivated and work both effectively and efficiently
  • Support the Business Unit Leadership Team to ensure the philosophy and culture of Actemium are held in high regard throughout the BU
  • Ensure all staff and subcontractors promote a safety and environmental conscious culture
  • Working within the team to coordinate and develop efficient methods of working, and looking for ways to refine and share best practice
  • Assist with carrying out internal audits within the project teams to ensure that the company procedures are being followed
  • Assist with completing customer questionnaires and provide copies of company documentation as required
  • Provide general administration support for the Project and admin teams
  • Liaise with Training providers to identify ad-hoc training as and when required
  • Assist the BUGM with any ad-hoc tasks required to support the project and admin teams
  • Preparing monthly reports for the team
  • Keep team up to date with internal/external policy changes and business developments
  • Represent the interests of the Business Unit within the Vinci Energies group




Desired profile

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Experience of working in an engineering environment would be advantageous
  • Highly motivated, organised and flexible
  • Positive, personable and happy team player
  • Competent and confident IT skills for using databases, word-processing, spreadsheets, planning tools, email, internet, etc
  • Any finance experience (accounts payable/accounts receivable) using SAP would be advantageous
  • Enjoy fostering great relationships both internally and externally with providers
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Ability to develop friendly and professional customer focused relations with others.
