Job description

Actemium Automation is launching our first Graduate Programme: The Engineering Advancement Programme. This programme is designed specifically to cultivate talent in budding software engineers who are looking to pursue a career in automation. Through rotational placements, learning workshops and close mentorship, this two-year programme will provide individuals access to a wealth of industry knowledge, applied practical experiences and the opportunity to shape your skills as a freshly qualified software engineer.

The programme is designed to last two years, with four modules per year. The modules will cover four areas:

-          Software Design & Test

-          Commissioning

-          Control Panel Design & Building

-          Commercial/ Project Management

 

One of the four modules each year will take place at a different Business Unit in the Actemium Automation Perimeter. Additionally, in all modules, time may be spent on customer sites and therefore, flexibility to travel is essential.

 

We have available placements in our Business Units around the country:

·         Actemium Automation Hampshire (based in our Portsmouth office) - CLOSING DATE - 2nd June 2023

·         Actemium Automation Yorkshire (based in our Huddersfield office)

·         Actemium Automation Nottingham

·         Actemium Automation Teesside

·         Eltek Systems Ltd (Peterborough area)

·         Kigtek Ltd (Glasgow area)

Desired profile

This programme is suitable for individuals who have had exposure to basic PLC programming. We are looking for individuals who have a desire to learn and develop, who have a passion for automation engineering, and possess the flexibility to adapt to working in varied teams and environments.
