Job Description
Job Summary: The Waiter/Waitress will provide excellent service to guests in our dining establishments, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role requires a strong understanding of menu offerings, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various guest requests and situations with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:
· Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing menu recommendations and answering any questions about food and beverages.
· Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently.
· Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery and attention to presentation and quality.

Operational Duties:
· Set up and maintain dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
· Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, aiming to resolve issues to the guest’s satisfaction.
· Process payments, including handling cash and credit card transactions, and provide accurate change or receipts.

Team Collaboration:
· Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and communication.
· Assist in training new staff members as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure they understand service standards and procedures.
· Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Hygiene and Safety:
· Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene practices.
· Ensure that all equipment and utensils are clean and in good working condition.

Upselling and Recommendations:
· Suggest and upsell menu items, including specials and promotions, to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
· Stay informed about the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens, to provide accurate information to guests.
Qualifications
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
· Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
· Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail offerings, is an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Professional demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
