Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/ess to join our restaurant team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a Waiter/ess, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests whilst providing attentive and efficient service.

·  Greet and seat guests, ensuring a warm and professional welcome
·  Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
·  Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and beverage recommendations
·  Serve food and drinks in a timely and courteous manner
·  Maintain a clean and organised dining area at all times
·  Process payments and handle cash and card transactions accurately
·  Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
·  Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve any issues professionally
·  Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
·  Assist in setting up and closing down the restaurant

Qualifications

·  Previous experience as a waiter/ess in a high volume luxury hotel or resort environment 
·  Excellent customer service skills with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
·  Good knowledge of food and beverage service techniques
·  Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments
·  Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays
·  Ability to memorise menu items and daily specials
·  Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
·  Familiarity with Vietnamese cuisine and culture (preferred)
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
·  Willingness to work in Phu Quoc, Vietnam
