We’re looking for a plate-balancing, people-loving Waiter at The Hoxton, Edinburgh to keep the food, drinks and good vibes flowing.

Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping run the day-to-day breakfast service and deliver a friendly service.

We’ve opened our doors in Edinburgh’s charming West End - our very first Hox in Scotland. Set across 11 beautiful Georgian townhouses, we’re home to 214 bedrooms, a lively open lobby and bar, an all-day Italian trattoria Patatino, a retro-inspired cinema, a flexible and super-size event space called The Get Together, and The Apartment – our unique signature spot for meetings, private dinners and memorable gatherings.

Patatino is our all-day Italian trattoria serving fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and all the spritzes and Italian wines you could wish for. Inspired by the glam and romance of the sun-soaked Amalfi coast, it’s a spot for long, joyful meals with friends, where old-school charm meets modern design, with bold colours, cosy corners, and plenty of personality.

What you’ll do…

 

·  Simply put - you’re the face of our guests’ experience and you bring your own flavour to the(ir) table, making sure that from the moment they arrive to when they leave, they’re having a great time.
·  Work in the mornings with the F&B team in keeping things running smoothly.
·  Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests come to wind down and enjoy themselves.
·  Provide a genuinely welcoming and memorable experience for our guests, from a Hox welcome, to handling any questions and helping out with requests.
·  Anticipate needs and proactively provide solutions so that our guests’ expectations are not only met but exceeded.
