Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Spa-Lifestyle and Recreation Manager to join our luxury resort in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Spa-Lifestyle and Recreation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our spa and wellness facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving the success of our wellness programs.
· Develop and implement innovative spa treatments, wellness programs, and recreational activities that align with current industry trends and guest preferences
· Lead and inspire a team of spa therapists, fitness instructors, and recreation staff to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of performance
· Manage the day-to-day operations of the spa and recreation facilities, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance
· Create and execute marketing strategies to promote spa services and increase revenue
· Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-control measures
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness
· Collaborate with other departments to create integrated wellness experiences for guests
· Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
· Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve spa and recreation offerings
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in spa management or a related role within the luxury hospitality industry
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
· Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and revenue management
· Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
· Proficiency in spa management software and Microsoft Office Suite
· In-depth knowledge of spa treatments, wellness practices, and current fitness trends
· Experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies for spa and wellness services
· Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese language is a plus
· Spa management certification is preferred
· Understanding of Vietnamese culture and hospitality standards is an advantage
