Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while supporting the Executive Chef in daily operations.

·  Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen management
·  Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
·  Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
·  Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and health standards
·  Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating to maintain consistency
·  Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste while maintaining quality
·  Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills
·  Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
·  Participate in menu tastings and special events as required
·  Step in for the Executive Chef when necessary, assuming full kitchen leadership

Qualifications

·  Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sous chef or similar leadership role
·  Demonstrated passion and creativity for food, ingredients, and flavors
·  Strong leadership and team management skills
·  Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, health, and safety standards
·  Proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control
·  Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Strong organizational and time management skills
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
·  Familiarity with Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus
