Key tasks

Main responsibilities :
- Support the hotel Management team to define the hotel strategy (Business mix & pricing by season and Day of Week) for current/long term periods.
- Analyze the hotels results and performance (average rates, occupancy, Rev PAR). Survey the market & competitors in terms of performance (RevPAR Index, market penetration etc.), pricing & availability as a basis for future tactical decisions with the hotels GM’s.
- Monitor and validate RMS forecast to ensure monthly forecast accuracy is met (+/- 3%). Daily review of the portfolio data using the Daily Reports and apply dynamic strategy changes when required.
- Ensure that an “RM culture” is spread in the hotel by organizing and chairing weekly revenue meetings & Monthly Business reviews with the GM and the key hotel managers.
- Ensure that the Centralized “RM culture” is spread in the office, demonstrating the delivery of results and high working standards.. Pro-actively uses all resources available to be kept informed and is seen as a “go to “ person by the MHRM’s.
- Join the Regional Revenue Manager during the initial interview stage for applicants and is responsible for the Induction and coaching of new Team members. Feedback any potential development challenges for new/existing employees to the Regional RM.
- Spend time with MHRM’s within the Region to review any hotel performance, audit RMS and act as a sounding board.
- Cover the department in the absence of the Regional RM (Holiday coverage).
- Attend monthly Senior MHRM’s meetings to discuss Best practices & current challenges in the department that need to be addressed and resolved. Review and consolidate various offers and promotions and communicate to the team in a clear and efficient manner.
