Job Description
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
· Ensure overall safety and security of hotel guests, colleagues, and premises through vigilant patrols and monitoring of surveillance equipment
· Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding to fires, accidents, and medical emergencies (First Aid/CPR)
· Investigate and report violations of law or hotel policy, accidents, complaints, and criminal activity
· Conduct regular security floor patrols, cash counts, and crowd control as needed
· Assist guests with information about hotel facilities and provide escorts when required
· Perform traffic management for vehicles entering and exiting the property
· Maintain accurate logs and complete required forms for all security-related activities
· Conduct searches of employee property, vehicles, or designated areas to prevent pilferage and ensure compliance with hotel policies
Qualifications
· Previous experience in a Security role required
· Certification in CPR and First Aid required
· Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications required
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
· Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
· Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
· Basic math skills and good oral and written communication skills
· Professional presentation and ability to work cohesively in a team
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
· Police Certificate of Character
· Security License
