Job Description

Role Overview

The Regional Sales Executive will support and grow business across a cluster of Fairview Hotels within a designated region (the North or Midlands – you can select your base hotel Wolverhampton/Nottingham/Newcastle/Worsley-Salford/Coventry). Working closely with the commercial team and individual hotel teams, this role will involve proactive selling, business development, account management, and revenue generation across multiple properties.

This is an ideal opportunity for a sales professional who is ready to expand their scope and responsibility, moving from single-property sales into a regional commercial environment with full training and mentoring provided.

Key Responsibilities

·  Proactively identify and secure new corporate, group, and event business for multiple hotel properties in your region
·  Manage and develop existing client accounts to drive repeat business and increase market share
·  Support the implementation of sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across your cluster
·  Conduct client visits, property show rounds, and attend relevant networking and trade events
·  Work closely with hotel General Managers, Revenue Managers, and the wider sales team to align goals and strategies
·  Produce regular sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts
·  Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and opportunities using the company’s CRM system

 

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

·  Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a proactive sales role within the hotel or wider hospitality industry
·  Strong understanding of the sales process, account development, and client relationship management
·  Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
·  Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise a varied workload
·  High level of commercial awareness with an interest in market trends and competitor activity
·  Willingness to travel regularly within the region (a valid UK driving licence is essential)
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with booking systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) is advantageous
