Orient Express La Minerva, Rome 

Considered as the beloved capital of the Orient Express legend, Rome will be home to the first Orient Express hotel, Minerva, in 2024. Orient Express, in partnership with the Italian luxury hotel group Arsenale S.p.A, has entrusted the interior architecture and artistic direction of the hotel Hugo Toro. The former Palazzo Fonseca is a sumptuous 17th-century palace with a huge, majestic façade. A place of memory still adorned with its Roman columns, sculptures by Rinaldi Rinaldo, a disciple of Casanova, and the fascinating goddess Minerva. At the end of 2024, a new décor and interior inspired by the Roman domus and the riches of the "Eternal City" will be revealed with a new touch of contemporary elegance.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Room Division Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our esteemed hotel. 

Responsibilities  

Guest Services Excellence:  

·  Reporting directly to the General Manager, he/she will oversee the daily operations of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services departments to ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction.
·  Implement and maintain efficient check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience for guests.  

Team Leadership:

·  Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.
·  Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
·  Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and elevate service levels. 

Operational Efficiency:

·  Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and enhance guest experiences.
·  Collaborate with other department heads to streamline interdepartmental communication and cooperation. 

Revenue Management:  

·  Work closely with Revenue Management, Sales and Marketing Teams to develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and packages to maximize revenue.
·  Monitor room inventory and rates, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals. 

Quality Assurance:

·  Ensure that all rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. 
·  Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 

Guest Relations:

·  Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally, aiming for swift resolution and exceeding guest expectations.
·  Implement programs to enhance guest loyalty and satisfaction. 

Budget Management:

·  Collaborate with the General Manager and Finance department to develop and manage budgets for the Room Division.
·  Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality. 

Qualifiche

·  Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field. 
·  Proven experience as a Room Division Manager or in a similar leadership role in a luxury hotel. 
·  Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service standards. 
·  Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. 
·  Ability to make strategic decisions, solve problems, and drive results. 
·  Fluent in English and Italian 
·  Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera Cloud) and Microsoft Office Suite.
