Key tasks

We are looking for a Rooms Division Manager to join our fabulous team at Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel & Spa. A fantastic opportunity for someone with similar experience who is looking for that next step in their career.

You will be in charge of reception, nights, housekeeping and reservations. Maximising revenue opportunities and delivering cost, expense and payroll targets. Involved with business planning, revenue management and forecasting.

In this role you will be focus on all the touch points of the customer journey, working with the team to personalise our guest's experiences and WOWing them from pre-arrival and throughout their stay.
Connecting with our Guests face to face during their stay will be key, managing any queries and using information learned to add value to their experience.

You will encourage the team to create 'sparkles' - memorable moments that recognise important occasions, guest passions or just because.

Communicating with our Guests will be a major focus of your role, answering emails, letters and through social media platforms. You will make the team aware of guest's feedback communicating quality results.

A good level of English, both written and spoken is essential and flexibility is required as there will be a combination of early morning, evening and weekend shifts.
