Job Description

· 
Room & Facility Cleaning:

· 
Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public walkways according to company standards.

· 
Vacuum carpets, curtains, and upholstered furniture; dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

· 
Sanitize bathrooms and restock guest amenities while reporting maintenance or plumbing issues.

· 
Surface & Equipment Maintenance:

· 
Use specialized cleaning equipment (e.g., industrial vacuums, floor polishers) and apply appropriate cleaning agents for deep-cleaning tasks.

· 
Strip and reapply wax coatings to floors; remove residues like oil, grease, soot, and dust from various surfaces.

· 
Ensure all tools and equipment are well-maintained and any faults are promptly reported.

· 
Operational Support & Safety Compliance:

· 
Assist in stock control and inventory management; report supply needs to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

· 
Adhere to safety protocols when handling cleaning agents and lost property.

· 
Support additional tasks including public area cleaning, exterior maintenance, and any reasonable requests from management.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience:

· 
Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.

· 
Understanding of proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.

· 
Experience in maintaining high cleanliness standards in fast-paced environments.

Competencies:

· 
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude.

· 
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, even in dynamic or high-pressure situations.

· 
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor with guests and colleagues alike.

Additional Requirements:

· 
A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

· 
Flexible with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.

·
