Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Reservations Team Leader to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our hospitality management team, you will oversee the daily operations of our reservation department, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maximising revenue through efficient booking processes.

·  Manage and supervise the daily operations of the reservation department
·  Train, mentor, and lead a team of reservation agents to maintain high service standards
·  Implement and monitor reservation policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
·  Analyse booking trends and occupancy rates to optimise revenue and pricing strategies
·  Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
·  Handle complex reservation enquiries and resolve guest issues promptly
·  Generate and analyse reports on reservation performance and key metrics
·  Stay updated on local and international hospitality trends to maintain a competitive edge
·  Ensure compliance with Vietnamese hospitality regulations and standards
·  Participate in cross-functional projects to improve overall hotel operations
·  Develop and implement strategies to increase bookings and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

·  Proven experience in hotel reservations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
·  In-depth understanding of hotel operations and reservation management systems
·  Strong leadership and team management skills
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
·  Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
·  Proficient in data analysis and report generation
·  Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
·  Customer-centric approach with a commitment to guest satisfaction
·  Fluency in English required; Vietnamese language skills highly desirable
·  Knowledge of local hospitality market trends in Phu Quoc and Vietnam
·  Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
·  Proficiency in hospitality-specific software and booking systems
·  Understanding of revenue management principles
·  Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively
·  Familiarity with the local tourism industry in Phu Quoc would be advantageous
