Job Description

Reporting to the reservations manager, as a Reservations Sales Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for guests, handling all reservation inquiries promptly and professionally while maximizing revenue through effective upselling. You’ll deliver passionate and knowledgeable service, ensuring every interaction is friendly and personalised. You’ll manage guest details in the PMS system, confirm bookings, and maintain clear communication across departments to fulfill special requests. Familiarity with our reservations system, rate structures, and property features will help you optimise occupancy and meet targets. You’ll also stay informed on promotions, maintain strong product knowledge, and actively promote the Accor Loyalty Program. In this role, you’ll represent our brand standards by answering calls efficiently, sharing sales leads, and creating seamless experiences for both internal and external guests.

Qualifications

·  Experience in a similar reservations environment, alternatively customer service experience required, preferably in a Hotel environment
·  Strong knowledge of hotel systems such as OPERA
·  Competent verbal and written communication skills
·  Proven ability to deliver exceptional service and build rapport with guests over the phone
·  Experience providing prompt and efficient service including upselling
·  Flexible working a variety of shifts including some weekends and public holidays.
·  Have full working rights in Australia
