We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our team in Visakhapatnam, India. As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient reservation management for our organization, providing exceptional service to our guests and contributing to their overall experience.
· Handle incoming calls, emails, and online reservations promptly and professionally
· Manage and maintain an accurate reservation system, ensuring all guest details are correctly recorded
· Provide detailed information about services, amenities, and special offers to potential guests
· Assist guests with modifying or canceling reservations as needed
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest requests and special requirements are communicated effectively
· Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
· Generate and analyze reservation reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
· Stay updated on current promotions, events, and changes in policies or procedures
· Maintain a high level of accuracy in all reservation-related tasks and data entry
· Assist in managing online booking platforms and optimizing their performance
· Support the development and implementation of reservation strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue
· Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all reservation processes
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a reservation or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
· Proficiency in reservation management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
· Exceptional phone etiquette and ability to handle high call volumes
· Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
· Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations or guest complaints
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
· Basic understanding of revenue management principles
· Familiarity with online booking platforms and their management
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to guest service
