Job Description

Reservation Responsibilities

·  Respond to enquiries about resort products and services by telephone, instant message, and email according to established communication guidelines
·  Maintain complete knowledge of all food & beverage services, content & preparation methods, outlets and hotel services/features to promote its products and services
·  Understand Revenue management strategies, up-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue
·  Determine guest needs and quote the appropriate room and rate as per requirements
·  Process booking information into the Reservation System
·  Process amendments to reservations such as extensions, early departures, etc. in a timely fashion
·  Arrange accommodation, visas, and activities for leisure and familiarization for our partners
·  Record special billing arrangements for groups and events
·  Coordinate and communicate with all other departments to ensure a smooth operations

Administration & Coordination

·  Perform duties and responsibilities while maintaining confidentiality
·  Maintain a complete knowledge of all resort’s latest features, services & promotions so as to provide prompt and accurate responses to all enquiries on resort reservations.

Qualifications

·  College diploma or equivalent qualifications
·  Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity or preferably in the area of guest services/tele-marketing
·  Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
·  Knowledge in Opera
·  Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
·  Past experience of working in the Maldives or other remote location(s)
