Job Description

As our next Receptionist , you will be the warm, welcoming face of [Hotel Name] and the first point of contact for every guest.

You will:

·  Welcome and check-in guests with enthusiasm and professionalism
·  Handle reservations, queries and payments efficiently
·  Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest journey
·  Provide support and cover for the front office team on short notice
·  Bring your personality to the role and make each guest interaction memorable

This is a casual contract , ideal for candidates who are flexible with shifts (including weekends and holidays) and live locally to allow for last-minute availability .

You’ll be trained in all front-of-house operations and safety procedures to ensure confidence in your role. Plus, we’ll offer you a one-night stay at the hotel so you can experience our guest journey for yourself!

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

·  Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Remains calm and solution-oriented under pressure
·  Is confident using hotel systems (training will be provided)
·  Speaks fluent English – other languages are a plus!
·  Lives locally or can reliably commute at short notice
·  Has the right to work in the UK

Previous experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential – we value your attitude and willingness to learn.
