We are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a team member host - receptionist.

Job Description

Who are we looking for?
In your new role as receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will welcome them, make sure their check in goes flawless and will go the extra mile to make their stay fantastic. You also know the city and what there is to do, you can tell the guests everything about the area and the city of Amsterdam.

Are you working a morning shift? Then you are also responsible for setting up the breakfast buffet and you monitor the safety of the hotel.

You work efficient and are stress resistant. Ibis budget is 24/7 open and because of that we are looking for someone who can work morning- day- and night shifts. In addition, we have a lot of international guests and is it of importance that you can speak English and (try to learn to) speak Dutch. Also you are not afraid to make conversation with the guest to give them the ‘feel Welcome’ feeling. Finally you always think problem-solving and are able to handle accurately in different situations.

Qualifications

Who you are:

·  You love variety and are flexible in your availability, including weekends.
·  You easily switch between different departments and enjoy being a team player.
·  You're a go-getter but also take time to enjoy a coffee break with your colleagues.
·  Since our guests and colleagues come from all over the world, it's helpful if you speak and write English alongside Dutch.
·  Most importantly, you're highly motivated, work with a smile, and go that extra mile to ensure our guests have a pleasant stay.

Additional Information

What we offer:

·  You'll work rotating shifts from 07:00 to 15:00 or from 15:00 to 23:00. But keep in mind, it's the hospitality industry, so don't take these times as set in stone!
·  We are looking for part-time a colleagues for our reception team. When applying, please mention how many days/hours you would like to work!
·  Our starting salary is € 2619,21 gross per hour, based on a 38 hour contract (scale 5 of the Hospitality CLA).
·  Our Front Office team is diverse and enthusiastic, always ready to teach you new things. You'll also have the opportunity to spend a day shadowing another department, gaining insights into all aspects of hotel life.
