Job Description

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

·  Ensure that products and raw materials needs of the hotel are secured at the best price and received as planned  
·  Conduct effective negotiations with vendors to obtain the best possible price.
·  Continually explore alternative sources of supply taking into consideration price, quality and reliability of both existing and new vendors
·  Negotiation of contracts for F&B as well General Supplies
·  Prepare monthly purchases report for analysis
·  Initiate cost saving projects to increase the productivity and profitability of the company

Qualifications

·  Finance Degree, with minimum 3 years of  Purchasing experience 
·  Experience in a computerized Materials procurement system preferably in the hospitality industry
·  Strong analytical and excellent negotiation skills, organized, meticulous with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Possess a positive attitude, mature, highly initiative, with strong leadership qualities and able to relate well with individuals at all levels and function effectively
·  Proficient in MS Office Applications
·  Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
