Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchasing Officer to join our team . As a Purchasing Officer, you will play a crucial role in our organization's procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

·  Process and edit purchase requests from various departments
·  Correspond with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate favorable terms
·  Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
·  Maintain detailed records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries
·  Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to identify the most cost-effective suppliers
·  Proactively communicate with colleagues and suppliers regarding order status and resolve any issues
·  Assist departments in raising purchase requests using company systems
·  Maintain positive relationships with suppliers
·  Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain appropriate documentation
·  Analyze spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost savings
·  Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies

Qualifications

·  Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience 
·  Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
·  Good communication skills
