Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to contract management, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies and local regulations.

·  Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and improve operational efficiency
·  Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
·  Analyze market trends, pricing, and economic factors to forecast and plan future purchases
·  Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
·  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their procurement needs
·  Monitor and track order status, delivery schedules, and inventory levels
·  Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and international trade laws
·  Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
·  Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and implement improvement measures
·  Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
·  Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
·  Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
·  Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Advanced Excel skills and experience with data analysis
·  Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Experience in international sourcing and vendor management
·  Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain management principles, and UAE business regulations
·  Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
·  Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
·  Familiarity with contract management and cost analysis techniques
