Job Description

About you

·  Experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a Front Office environment.
·  Previous Night Auditor experience preferable.
·  Strong knowledge of Opera PMS.
·  Exceptional grooming, presentation and communication skills.
·  An ability to work night shifts across a 7 day roster.
·  An open, unrestricted driver's licence.
·  Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.

What you will be doing?

As our Night Manager you will oversee the night operations of the hotel and be responsible for creating a warm and personalised welcome experience for our guests overnight. In the absence of management, you will also ensure that the general safety and security of guests, staff and the property is maintained at all times.

Your expertise will enable you to provide a VIP service to our guests.  Your typical duties will include but won't be limited to: 

·  Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewelling our early departures.
·  Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and completing daily revenue postings.
·  Preparing and distributing relevant reports to inter departments.
·  Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guests’ details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
·  Collating paperwork for departures and coordinate with the Front Office team.
·  Providing supervision and support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
·  Responding to guest enquires and requests in a timely manner.
·  Ensuring an effective handover of issues is conveyed at the start and end of each shift between Night Audit, Concierge and Reception.
·  Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
·  Attending to guests requests efficiently and effectively in order to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Our Hotel -  The  Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport  is   a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel opening on 1 July 2024.

The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a fitness centre, conference rooms, pool, co working space and a number of food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct.

This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
