Meeting & events sales project (6 months, part-time)

Company Description
We are looking for a hard-driving sales professional to launch and sell our brand-new event space Zinnia at Novotel Brussels off Grand Place. This is a 6-month, part-time assignment (2–3 days/week) focused on hunting, pitching, and closing contracts for meetings and events.
Mission
· Build a pipeline of qualified corporate, agency, and organizer leads in Brussels.
· Sell Zinnia through direct outreach, cold calling, and face-to-face meetings.
· Secure signed contracts that generate immediate revenue and position Zinnia in the Brussels MICE market.
Job Description
Key responsibilities
· Research and qualify 200–300 leads (corporates, EU institutions, NGOs, event agencies, expo organizers).
· Conduct proactive outreach: 50+ contacts per week via email, phone, and visits.
· Convert outreach into 4–5 sales meetings per week.
· Organize site inspections and pitches in the event space.
· Negotiate and close event contracts, focusing on speed and value.
· Report weekly on pipeline, meetings, and bookings.
· Work closely with the hotel’s GM and F&B team to tailor packages.
Qualifications
Profile
· Proven track record in B2B sales (hospitality, MICE, events, or related industries).
· Strong hunter mentality: thrives on cold calls, networking, and closing.
· Brussels network in corporate or event agencies is a strong plus.
· Self-starter: able to run the full sales cycle with minimal hand-holding.
· Available 2–3 days per week for 6 months.
· Fluent in English + French and/or Dutch.
