Job Description

· 
Carry out all tiles grouting and blocking and other assigned civil works duties within the complex 

· 
Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for masonry jobs as directed by Superiors 

· 
Repair, maintain and alter buildings, retaining walls and other brick or stone edifices 

· 
Mix mortar, lay bricks and stones or concrete sidewalks and make and repair steps 

· 
Patch and replace brick or stonework chimneys 

· 
Install and repair tile floors or walls 

· 
Read blueprints and plaster ceilings or walls 

· 
Estimate masonry jobs and carry out carpentry work incidental to masonry work. 

· 
Executes all plumbing and associated work to the highest professional standards for the whole complex 

· 
Performs the tasks assigned to him and ensures their implementation while working independently. 

· 
Acts on issues and concerns in his activity field immediately.  

· 
Must be able to control the stocks and other items in his workshop and order more as required. 

· 
Abides to the daily task and ensures timely implementation. 

· 
Checks extra needs of a guest. 

· 
Ensures oneself is thoroughly familiar with the hotel’s emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur. 

· 
Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility. 

· 
Other duties as assigned. 

· 
Assist in Task Force Teams for new openings 

· 
Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested. 

Qualifications

Education: Diploma / Certificate in Plumbing. 

Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role                          

Other: Should be able to communicate well in English.
