Key tasks
Job Purpose
• Marketing Executive is responsible for the managing and executing of Pullman Saigon Centre’s marketing and communications activities. This role will manage measurement and leverage the Accor tools the achieved marketing objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
1- Marketing
• Be fully conversant with Pullman brand, its standards and DNA
• Champion brand values and guidelines in all communications (visual, print, digital, etc.)
• Manage brand compliance at hotel level to protect our brand equity across all channels
• Assist and monitor marketing/ promotional collateral development/ production
• Assist and monitor the implementation of hotel’s marketing activities
• Ensure the hotel have all the Accor marketing platform tools and use them
• Appointment and liaison with relevant suppliers for the supply for marketing related products
• Effectively promote the hotel’s image and brand in every activity
• Attend training as required to assist personal and career growth
• Oversee hotel’s photo development and distributed in Accor’s channels
2- Communication and Image
• Translate and proof press releases, distribute them and manage clippings
• Coordinate with PR agency, media, and tour operators when necessary
• Coordinate hotel’s events, functions, media familiarization trips and press conferences
• Coordinate communications plans to maximize the benefits of our marketing/ communications spend
• Set up and manage PR and Media database, ensuring constant contact to maximize relationship
• Coordinate press inquiries and activities (hotel and regional based)
• Assist all activities concerning hotel’s publicity i.e. film shooting, photo shooting, interviews by local and international media, etc.
• Ensure hotel photos and press kits are up to date
• Responsibility to develop and implement the hotel’s marketing communication collaterals, including advertising, promotions, graphics and collaterals, following brand standard and guidelines
• Support marketing objectives for the hotel and maximize the hotel’s positive exposure in local, national and international markets
• Developing concepts and designing materials including newsletters, invitations, advertisements, flyers, vouchers, direct mail, postcards and coupons
• Manage collateral production to ensure budget and brand is maintained
• Assist the marking team with marketing, brainstorming and advertising strategies
• Contributing design artwork and ideas to the overall brief
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
3- Loyalty and Partnership
• Drive marketing activities for Accor loyalty products and support in acquisition targets at hotel level
• Identify partnership marketing opportunities to further expose our hotel brands and network and drive incremental revenue
• Work with regional marketing to expand the regional and global relationship marketing strategies
4- Administration responsibilities
• Assist in drawing up the Marketing Plan annually with General Manager
• Draws up the Public Relations Action Plan and Advertising Plan annually
• Maintains a record on former, current and existing clients (Mailing list)
• Organizes record visits by Professionals persons of the media, journalists and members of the trade to the hotel
• Design and distribute the monthly Newsletter and other advertising
• Control of stationary supply for division use
• Attends social events both in-house and outside
• Receives in the hotel all V.I.P guests
• Ensures that all stationery and printed items are standardized and conforms to the PULLMAN standard
5- Public Relation
• Ensures that optimum publicity is created for all major hotel activities
• Take photographs and prepares news releases of events undertaken by the hotel
• Defines precisely V.I.P guests requirements and ensures that the guest services offered correspond effectively to their requirements
• Organizes (both internal and external) Public Relations activities
• Prepares and selects all printed literature, sales tools, Hotel give-away in conjunction with the Management
6- E Marketing
• Effectively manage the hotel’s content and images through conducting regular website audits
• Proactively explore all online opportunities for the hotels including but not limited to, local business opportunities, city/regional tourism organization
• Manage the hotel’s website-traffic and revenue generation, promotional content display
• Manage the hotel email database and e communication activity
• Manage online advertising for the hotel (display banners, SEM/PPC etc.)
• Manage the online promotion for conference and catering and food and beverage activity at the hotel
• Set-up, manage social media accounts and sharing sites as relevant to the hotels markets (Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, Flickr etc.) and develop social networks
• Monitor various media for positive and negative comments and discussions about the Hotel (Trip advisor, Blogs, Forums). Take part in conversations and answer comments as a mediator
• Report to appropriate parties’ negative comments and discussions
• Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding our Hotel
• Recommend new alternatives or ideas to develop the Hotel’s online marketing strategies

Education / Professional experience
• Degree in Marketing or Hotel Management School
• Minimum two years’ experience in the position of Marketing Executive or equivalent scope of job
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to priorities tasks
• Be creative and innovative
• Well groomed at all times to maintain a professional impression of the hotel
• Excellent guest and client relations in particular with Medias
• Be results focused and be able to implement activities to drive revenue
• Be very proficient in Microsoft applications
• Have excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Extremely proactive with all activities to support the hotel
• Be able to work effectively as part of a dynamic team
