Sofitel Singapore City Centre, an iconic hotel which opens in October 2017 will form part of a mixed-use development at Tanjong Pagar Centre, a multi-billion dollar development, which will become Singapore’s tallest building at 290 meters set around landscaped parkland and direct MRT station access.
The 223-room Sofitel Singapore City Centre will offer chic designed rooms, 4 Food and Beverage options, a ballroom, and several meeting rooms, fitness and pool facilities.
Job Description
· Manage all hotel digital marketing channels including producing content for social media, as well as developing and maintaining an e-marketing calendar for promotional purposes.
· Undertake the production of hotel and promotional collaterals including, but not limited to, posters, flyers, digital signage and brochures.
· Liaise with various agencies on the production of collaterals, advertising and online materials.
· Manage all paid media expenditure from creative to production to appearance and post-campaign assessment.
· In charge of all areas of design activities from conceptualization to production of marketing promotions in the areas of F&B, rooms, meetings, weddings, catering collaterals, marketing and promotional materials and show case displays.
· Coordinate hotel advertisements, barter deals and sponsorships.
· Organise and oversee the hotel’s photoshoots and filming requests.
· Monitor media mentions and maintaining a library of hotel clippings.
· Conduct media site inspection and hotel tours.
· Researching and analysing competitors and competitor activity, identifying new opportunities.
· Work closely with Corporate Office to ensure consistent application of brand guidelines for all marketing communications collaterals, hotel amenities, signage, etc.
· Actively solicit opportunities with media and corporate partners with similar target audiences to develop mutually beneficial promotional opportunities.
· Manage and develop the hotels’ online reputation including microsite, brand website, third party content and online partnership platforms.
· Manage the hotels’ media databases and communicate regularly regarding promotions and events.
· Assist with the creation and implementation of all hotel and F&B promotional plans.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, mass communication, communications, public relations.
· Experience in digital marketing, marketing communications, public relations, social media marketing or communications in a 5-star luxury environment advantageous.
· Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
· Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily.
· Strong conceptual abilities. Creative and able to turn work around quickly to meet deadlines.
· Has the ability and willingness to undertake further development.
· Exceptional people and communication skills.
· High level of attention to detail.
· Good organisational and time management skills.
· Excellent command of written and spoken English.
