Are you interested in joining a dynamic sales team within one of the largest global hotel groups? Then look no further! A new role has opened up within AccorHotels Global & National sales office managing a portfolio of key M&E partners. We are looking for someone with strong key account management skills, a passion for meetings and events and the drive to succeed. If you are self-motivated and are keen to work within a small but highly effective team then this role is for you!

Purpose
- To drive revenues from a portfolio of key M&E agency based accounts
- To raise the profile of the worldwide network of Accor Hotels across all brands within the M&E and Congress arena with focus on UK hotels especially London
- To act as the UK M&E Ambassador within the UK community both internally and externally.

Essential Functions and responsibilities:
- Identify and manage 30-50 key accounts within this market segment through day to day sales activities.
- Support and raise awareness of the Key M&E hotels within the portfolio with particular focus on the London & International M&E hotels
- Developing and targeting business for priority hotels within portfolio- with focus on the global portfolio of 4 & 5 star hotels with particular emphasis on London and key M&E destinations across Europe including Paris
- Support new opening within the Global network through sales and marketing actions to the UK MICE community
- Developing full account management information using Anais/Sales force as per guidelines outlined within objectives
- Organising and attending familiarisation visits, sales missions and appointments with UK and International hotels throughout the year – both during Midweek and Weekends
- Support and develop Le Club Meeting planner loyalty programme recruitment with clients and act as a training support to hotels.
- Understanding and developing business through online portals such as Ah.com/Starcite & Cvent where possible
- Selling in and promoting the benefits of the TAGS project to hotelier and accounts

Essential and optional requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within an M&E sales environment, preferably at a central sales level.
• Account management experience – Minimum 5 years.
• Working within a global hotel company central sales department (desirable) minimum 1-2 years.
• UK and/or overseas hotel sales experience.
• Minimum education level – A levels.
• The successful applicant must possess excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Eligible to work in the UK
