Job Description
1. Kitchen & cleaning duties:
Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, preparation, and storage areas; operate dishwashing machines; follow deep-cleaning schedules and proper waste disposal procedures.
2. Stock & equipment handling:
Assist with receiving, sorting, and storing stock; ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and properly maintained; report maintenance needs.
3. Food prep support:
Help prepare ingredients and staff meals as directed; support chefs during service; follow hygiene and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
· Trade qualification
· Previous experience working in a hotel or restaurant environment at a managerial level
· Relevant food preparation and service knowledge
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring stamina, energy, and resilience. Candidates must be comfortable with standing for long periods, lifting equipment, and working in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
