Job Description

Assist in the preparation and execution of authentic Italian dishes in line with established recipes and standards

Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, service, and closing procedures
·
Supervise kitchen team members and ensure efficient workflow during service
·
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
·
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
·
Assist with inventory control, ordering, and minimizing food wastage
·
Train and guide junior kitchen staff, promoting skill development and teamwork
·
Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of kitchen equipment
·
Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Sous Chef
Qualifications
·
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant
·
Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques
·
Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments
·
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills
·
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
