Job Description

As our In-Room Dining Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing our in-room dining service, while maximizing profitability and meeting customer’s needs. You will report to the Director of Restaurants and Bars. 

You will be responsible for:

·  Taking accountability and effectively managing the In Room Dining in conjunction with the Restaurant Leader.
·  Being knowledgeable of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
·  Maintaining currency of RSA certification, amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
·  To assist in the reaching of financial goals for the Food and Beverage department.
·  Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
·  Preparing weekly rosters and consistently monitoring labour costs to remain within financial budget.
·  Implementing new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff.
·  Identify and delegate responsibilities to Team Leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
·  Provide direction to shift leaders, and staff to achieve restaurant goals.
·  To ensure that the Restaurant and In Room Dinning areas are maintained to a high standard cleanliness.
·  Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
·  Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on and ongoing basis.
·  Maintain a good working relationship with the kitchen team and other departments.
