Job Description

As a Houseperson, you’ll play a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. From maintaining public and back-of-house areas to supporting the Room Attendants, your work will directly contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

·  This role involves heavy lifting and manual handling so a high level of fitness and strength is required.
·  Maintain high standards of cleanliness across front and back of house
·  Assist with linen delivery, removing waste, and supply restocking
·  Respond to housekeeping and guest service requests promptly and professionally
·  Report maintenance issues and ensure safety standards are upheld

This is a  part-time position  (minimum of 32 hours per week) working on a rotating 7-day roster, with a wage of  $25.42 per hour.

Qualifications

·  Previous housekeeping, public area, or cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
·  A team player with a positive attitude and great attention to detail
·  Someone physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
·  Availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
·  Takes pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces
·  NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or a current and valid work visa/permit. (immigration visa support or sponsorship is not available with this role)
