Job Description
Position: Housekeeping Attendant
Department: Housekeeping
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper

PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide consistent service to guest villas, restaurants, public areas, back of the house and other areas that meet the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Clean and maintain guest villas, restaurants, public areas, back of the house areas and other areas as assigned on daily basis according to the company’s standards and procedures
· Replenish guest supplies /linen in service stations/ villas /public spaces
· Take good care of the service pantries making sure they are clean and neatly arranged
· Make flower arrangements when and if required
· Ensure guests requests are promptly and courteously met
· Report damage or malfunction in guest villas, restaurants, public areas, back of the house areas, pantries to Supervisor
· Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repair
· Maintain a section villa task report as well as a daily productivity report /check list
· Attend daily briefings with supervisor and take on daily assigned tasks as required
· Report lost and found articles to Supervisor immediately
· Handle guest complaints, reporting them to Supervisor immediately
· Report unusual behavior/activities in guest villas, restaurants, public areas, back of the house areas, pantries to Supervisor
· Record villa status in allocated section accurately
· Comply with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy
· Adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards
· Attend meetings and training sessions as required
· Fully understands the difference in guest levels (VIPs) and Room Categories
· Create awareness of functions / operations in public area /restaurants
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
· Good organizational skills
· Good level of engagement with guests
· Good knowledge of HK Operations
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in a luxury hotel environment
