Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess F&B to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

·  Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
·  Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
·  Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
·  Assist with special requests and accommodate dietary requirements
·  Maintain a clean and tidy reception area
·  Coordinate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service
·  Handle guest enquiries and resolve any issues promptly
·  Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of menu items and daily specials
·  Assist in organising and overseeing special events or promotions
·  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

·  Secondary school diploma or equivalent
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
·  Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
·  Basic computer literacy for managing reservations and using point-of-sale systems
·  Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
·  Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
·  Understanding of hospitality industry practices
·  Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the restaurant as needed
·  Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
