Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

·  Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
·  Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
·  Monitor open dining sections for available tables
·  Estimate and communicate wait times to guests
·  Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries
·  Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to their server
·  Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system
·  Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations
·  Address guest concerns and requests promptly and courteously
·  Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
·  Assist with special events and promotions as needed

Qualifications

·  Vocational certificate or diploma in Food and Beverage service preferred
·  Fluency in English; Arabic language is a plus
·  Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality
·  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
·  Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
·  Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
·  Professional appearance and positive attitude
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Basic computer skills for managing reservation systems
