Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.
· Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
· Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
· Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
· Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
· Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about the restaurant
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
· Assist with special events and promotions
· Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally
· Manage waiting lists during peak hours
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
· Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive dining atmosphere
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a hostess or in a similar customer service role
· Outstanding guest service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Professional appearance and demeanor
· Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
· Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
· Knowledge of local culture and customs
· Basic math skills for managing reservations and seating arrangements
· Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed
· Physical stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
· Ability to perform tasks such as kneeling, pushing, and pulling when necessary
