Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

·  Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
·  Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
·  Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions
·  Assist with guest inquiries and provide information about the restaurant and local attractions
·  Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
·  Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
·  Maintain a clean and organized reception area
·  Assist in answering phone calls and managing to-go orders
·  Support the wait staff during peak hours as needed
·  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

·  Proven experience as a hostess or in a similar customer service role
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
·  Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
·  Basic math skills for handling bills and transactions
·  Proficiency in using reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
·  Knowledge of Saudi Arabian culture and customs
·  Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
·  Positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences
·  Professional appearance and grooming standards
·  High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related education is a plus
