Key tasks

We are Bokan, the dockside beacon for artisanal food & drink made using a mixture of local, ancient and adopted British ingredients.
We have crafted a menu inspired by rich European cultural cuisines that have flowed along the Thames since ancient times.
A place of trade for over 1,000 years we are inspired by the hardworking backdrop of historical Canary Wharf.

We are currently looking for the following roles for our fabulous roof top restaurant and bar:

• Welcomer

In this role you will coordinate the arrival and departure of guests. You help them to feel welcome and direct them to the area they wish to go. You take telephone reservations, as required and answer emails from guests about a variety of topics.

This modern venue is set across two floors, with panoramic views of London. Set to be a London destination, known for the view, the service and the creatively designed cocktails and extensive variety of spirits.

A good level of English, both written and spoken is essential and flexibility is required as there will be a combination of early morning and weekend shifts. Also, confidence working with computers to manage reservations, emails and databases.
