Job Description

This role is a Part Time Fixed Term 6-month contract with the possibility to extend. We are looking for a Handyperson who enjoys completing a variety of tasks each day. This role requires you to maintain the building and ensure a pleasant and safe environment for all guests, visitors and colleagues.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for:

·  Undertaking general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance throughout the Hotel.
·  Complete daily plant rounds and servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
·  Ensure all equipment is maintained, used, and stored correctly.
·  Carry out maintenance requirements and follow up as scheduled by the Property management System (PMS).
·  Assist in keeping up-to-date records on the repair and maintenance of plant and equipment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone driven & wanting to learn that has;

·  The drive to work hard and get your hands dirty
·  The ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment.
·  Attention to detail.
·  Excellent communication skills.
·  The ability to working rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
·  Good organisational and multitasking skills
