Job description

Key tasks

• To be instructed by the relevant supervisor of his duties in regards to maintaining guest room and public areas to the highest possible standard.
• To be fully versed and capable in electrical, plumbing and painting requirements related to the designated areas of work (should be multi-skill).
• To be practically adaptable and willing to take on works and requirements asked to him.
• If judged to be capable of carrying out a different job title/requirement, must be willing to accept new job challenges and position.
• Familiarize himself with the total building layout.
• To be fully aware of and carryout healthy and safe work practices at all times.
• It is your responsibility to ensure that the room is left clean and in perfect working condition after completion of any work performed.
• A “While you were out” card is to be left in any guest room which is occupied but vacant when work is carried out in that room.
• Ensure that all tools in the maintenance cart are kept clean and in good condition.
• Follow all House Rules.
