Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Associate - Food & Beverage to join our team in Gandhinagar, India. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations.
· Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, adhering to company standards
· Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, demonstrating knowledge of menu items
· Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation
· Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to requests or concerns
· Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
· Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations
· Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
· Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for various events or meal services
· Stay informed about daily specials, menu changes, and promotional offers
· Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining open communication
Qualifications
· Proven experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a hospitality setting
· Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
· Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
· Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and guest needs
· Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems
· Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or equipment
· Team player with a collaborative attitude
· Knowledge of food and beverage standards and best practices
· Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns efficiently
· Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
· Food safety awareness and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards
