Job Description

Starting Rate of Pay : $17.40 per hour

Showcase your attention to detail and horticultural flair as a Grounds Labourer – and maintain hotel grounds that provide a beautiful backdrop to every exceptional guest stay. In this role you will support the hotel by:

·  Maintain flower beds, landscape plantings both indoor & outdoor
·  Mow, trim, water all turf areas of resort
·  Prepare landscape areas for repair or construction
·  Clean the property - litter, animal waste, recycling, hazard trees and yard debris
·  Plant, fertilize and pesticide usage on a periodic basis
·  Assist irrigation technician when necessary
·  Operate power tools and equipment while using proper personal protective equipment

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

·  Valid Alberta Driver’s License required 
·  Previous experience in Landscape/Gardening an asset
·  Machine operating experience an asset: snowplow, grader & blade, bobcat, john deere tractors 5200, 670, 855 & 3320
·  CPR and First Aid Certificates an asset
·  Ability to work outdoors in various elements such as rain, heat & snow required

Additional Information

Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
