We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Front Office Supervisor to join our team in Novotel Cairo El Borg Hotel Cairo, Egypt. As the Front Office Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service in our hotel's front office operations.
· Manage and supervise front office staff, including receptionists to ensure optimal guest satisfaction
· Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
· Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously
· Monitor and maintain the front desk area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times
· Conduct regular shift briefings to communicate hotel activities and operational requirements
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
· Train and mentor front office staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
· Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and industry standards
· Analyze front office performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
· Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with key clients and partners
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field
· Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in front office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
· Strong leadership and team management abilities
· Proficiency in hotel management software and property management systems
· Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
· Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
· Demonstrated ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
· Experience in cash handling and financial reporting
· Proficiency in a second language is a plus
