Job Description
· Manage day-to-day operations of Front Office Department service.
· Must reflect Mercure Mission and Vision Statement in following the general procedures directives of the company.
· Taking care of guests on arrival, during their stay, at departure and providing guest services at the reception as and when required.
· To liaise with all departments to ensure high standard of service to Guests.
· To establish and maintain effective employee relations.
· To ensure that any orders or decisions taken by the Assistant FOM or Duty Manager are strictly followed up.
· Able to assist the Arrival & Departure luggage to ensure operation is smooth.

Manage Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee the daily activities and operations of the Front Office Department, ensuring a smooth and efficient guest service experience.
Guest Interaction: Provide personalized service to guests upon their arrival, throughout their stay, and during departure. Ensure all guest needs are met in a timely and courteous manner, particularly at the reception.
Night Audit Oversight: Ensure the accurate completion of night audit reports, verifying all financial transactions, balances, and necessary documentation after the night audit.
Credit and Rate Management: Regularly monitor and manage credit limit reports, ensuring guest accounts are within the prescribed limits. Review rate variance reports to maintain accurate room rate information.
Micros System: Coordinate with the relevant department to resolve any issues related to the Micros system in order to run the night audit.
Billing and Documentation: Ensure all guest bills are accurately maintained, with proper attachment of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents at the time of departure.
Qualifications
· Secondary / High school education
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
· Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
· Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
