Job Description

·  Assist with day-to-day operations with the guests in the restaurant 
·  Ensure professional and friendly service is provided to all guests in each interaction
·  Clear and reset tables and ensure service areas are clean and tidy
·  An unbridled passion for food and love sharing your 'food stories' with our patrons. Experience and knowledge of Italian cuisine are preferred
·  The confidence to explain our menu to guests with gusto, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences, and providing enthusiastic assistance when recommending wine and beverages.
·  Anticipate guest needs and create unforgettable dining experiences 
·  Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their dining needs
·  Collaborate with team members to respond to guest requests and resolve any issues professionally
·  Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables
·  Assist with event setups and functions in the conference suites and restaurant 

Qualifications

·  Previous customer service or hospitality experience
·  Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
·  The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends
·  Great communication skills, presentation and confidence to engage with guests
·  A passion for maximising sales opportunities by upselling items
·  A calm nature in the midst of a fast-paced environment
·  A team player with the ability to assist in all areas of F&B operations during peak times
