The hotel features 239 well appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

Job Description

We are looking for a ‘guest obsessed’ passionate F&B / Bar Attendant who thinks outside the box and wants to opportunity to make our F&B outlets the heart & soul of our hotel.

In this role you will:

·  Be the ‘face’ of our Bar – welcome guests, look after our VIPs and clients
·  Be an active promoter of Beccaria Bar and assist in implementing ways to drive revenue within our food and beverage outlets
·  Run breakfast service, and conferencing and events as required
·  Bring flair, passion and charisma each and every day
·  Be given the opportunity to have your say and bring new ideas to the team
·  Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation
·  Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

Qualifications

·  An entrepreneurial style and drive for bar operations
·  The natural ability to understand and educate our guests on our wide range of wine, spirits, cocktails and aperitifs
·  Experienced in making traditional cocktails as well as an interest in creativity and design of new cocktails
·  Flexibility regarding your work availability is essential, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
