Financial- 

·  Coordinates and assists Fire Officer on internal campaign and activities of energy conservation program.
·  Assists/ advises Fire Officer regularly on the latest fire norms as per the industry standards.
·  Assists / advises Fire Officer Engineer regularly on the Fire and safety status and conditions of the hotel.

Operational:-

·  Maintain all the firefighting, fire detection and PA system equipment as per the specified standards.
·  Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
·  Maintain all tools and equipment as required.
·  Assist other departmental personnel as necessary.
·  Ensure to complete all the tasks assigned in an effective and efficient manner.
·  Complete the necessary reports, work orders, etc. as required.
·  Ensure to practice Safety in all aspects of the job, while attending all kinds of jobs.
·  Should be helpful and courteous to guests at all times.
·  Should handover important messages and guest requests to the Managers.
·  Report any missing or broken property to the Managers.
·  Maintains high levels of personal hygiene.
·  Be familiar with preventive maintenance schedules of the firefighting, fire detection and PA systems installed in the hotel.
·  Aware of the guest complaint handling procedure.
·  Ensures the upkeep of all the firefighting and fire detection equipment.
·  Follows up on works handed over by Fire Officer
·  Abide by companies policy and decision
·  To fill the Preventive maintenance chart with all the required information after completion of preventive works as well as all kind of complaints related to firefighting and fire detection
·  Abides by the key handling procedures.
·  Follows all safety and security measures.
·  Safeguard and protect Hotel Property.
·  To carry out start and end of the shift duties.
·  To report any issues related to fire and safety in the guestroom, Machinery areas and at the Public areas.
·  Conducts fire and safety training to all hotel employees as an ongoing process, in coordination with the training manager and security manager.

Business plan /Analysis:-

·  Analyze firefighting, fire detection and PA system feedbacks and report to DOE / ADOE.
·  Analyze all firefighting, fire detection and PA system history and complaints and reports to DOE / ADOE.
·  Should be aware of company’s business plan.
·  Should be aware of departmental budgets and Expenses.

Team Management

·  Ensures maximum efficiency of the staff working under him/her.
·  Coordinates the movements of contractors related to firefighting and fire detection systems within the hotel.
·  Establish staff requirements for a shift, based on the need.
·  Grooming checks.
·  Organize team motivational activities
·  To meet team on one on one basis regularly.
