Hotel Overview: Located in Washington's fashionable West End, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown surrounds you with comfort and luxury. The perfect hotel for either business or leisure travel, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown offers spacious guestrooms and the brilliant colors of nature found in the hotel's central garden courtyard, reflecting these tones throughout the property. 

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Fairmont Gold Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:              

 

·  Work on our Fairmont Gold Floor, a hotel within a hotel which includes 60 rooms and suites and a 3-meal period lounge. Our lounge is exclusive to our executive level guests.
·  Combines both Front Desk, Concierge and F&B aspects: front desk (billing and room inventory), concierge (experience based itineraries), F&B serving for the Fairmont Gold lounge.
·  Focusing on personalized service to our executive level guests and VIPs. Providing an experience based interactions with every guest you come in contact with. Welcoming and continuing to build the experience with our top VIPs and frequent guests.
·  Complete housekeeping room inspection pre-arrival, during stay and post departure. Ensuring all housekeeping items are maintained in good conditions and specific requests are met.
·  Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
·  Lead and supervise to ensure all Fairmont Gold Standards and operating procedures are adhered
·  To monitor maintenance of the physical Fairmont Gold product
·  Review all Fairmont Gold reservations to ensure requests are met
·  Ensure the highest possible revenues are generated for Fairmont Gold, working with the Front Office team on daily upsell programs
·  Handle guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas
·  Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty
·  Provide exceptional Concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions
·  To follow department policies, procedures and service standards
·  To follow all safety policies 
·  Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
·  Previous guest service experience required
·  Previous Property Management System experience required
·  Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
·  University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
·  Must possess a professional presentation
·  Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
·  Highly responsible & reliable
·  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
·  Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
·  Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
 


Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):     

·  Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
·  Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20lbs.
·  Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
